06/24/05: We have signed up for webhosting and have a new URL and phone number which can be seen
on the front page. We have embeded our adoptable and adopted animals on their respective pages.
04/25/05: Oh, great, almost another year has gone by and no updates. Well, long story short,
Olive and her two surviving pups were adopted. Unfortunately, four of the pups died (all the males) - one from genetic
reasons and the other three from a serious strain of Parvo. We still miss them almost six months later.
We're a New Hope partner with the county! Since we have been spending money left and right to pull dogs
from the shelters as well as vetting expenses we have not had the money to get our Incorporation in the State and our 5013c
paperwork in.
During the past year we've had four other adoptions and 2005 looks to be the best year for adoptions this far.
08/20/04: A few things have happened. On August 2nd we received a call from a veterinary
hospital in Cave Creek, AZ wanting to know if we were able to help them with a purebred Dal mom and her six ten-day-old pups
that were found in the desert by one of their clients. We went there are the pups weren't ten days old..they were two
days old. Four boys and two girls...sadly, one of the males died the Saturday after we took them in. We have inquiries
on one of the females and a male, but everyone will be available in a few weeks to start the adoption process. Mom and babies
will go to their new homes after the pups reach eight weeks and are spayed or neutered.
07/03/04: Wow. Has it been a year since I posted an update? *heads head in shame*
We have submitted our paperwork to become a New Hope partner with the county as well as submitted paperwork to Petfinder.com
so we can get a listing on their site. Next stop: State incorporation and 501c3. Please donate to the 2nd Bowl-A-Roma
which will be held on August 7, 2004 at the same place as last year so we can realize our goal!
07/01/03: Don't forget to see our page for updated information regarding any events that we are participating in.
05/25/03: Apparently I suck at updates so here goes: Foster Family Application along with Adoption Questionnaire are now in downloadable form. If you are interested in either fostering or adopting a Dalmatian please fill
out these forms and e-mail them.
05/13/03: We have our first available dog in foster care! Please go to the Available Dogs page to check him out!
04/28/03: Created a page on what to do if you find a lost or have lost a Dalmatian.
Great tips for helping you locate that lost dog or to get the dog you found to a safe place. Please go to Lost/Found Dal section of the website for further information.
04/19/03: Foster Application/Contract added! Also, registered with Petfinder.org to help get potential homes. Just need to send in some paperwork and I'm all set.
04/15/03: Happy tax-day! To celebrate an adoption questionaire has been added to the Adoption
Application page. Hopefully the foster contract as well as other forms will be uploaded soon.
